This list is just a guide to better help you understand your options, please do not consider these descriptions to be set in stone. All cakes, fillings, icings and flavors should be discussed with Mayu’s Cakes so we can find the perfect combination of ingredients for your special custom cake. Signature Vanilla Rum

Maria’s signature Vanilla Rum cake is made with Rum and finished with an aged Brandy glaze. Don’t worry, the alcohol cooks out leaving a nice balanced cake that isn’t too sweet.

Almond

Similar to the Vanilla Bean Cake in consistency, this cake batter is infused with almond extract to give a rich, but subtle taste. Try it with the Pistachio Butter Cream filling for a taste sensation that will drive your guests totally nuts!

Amaretto Chocolate

A twist on Chocolate, this cake includes Disaronno Almond liqueur and fresh orange zest.

Black Forest

Maria adds citrus and cheesecake to this traditional Southern Germany-style chocolate cherry cake recipe. Rich and sweet. Some people prefer to fill it with the Raspberry filler.

Carrot

This is a denser cake, closer in consistency to a quick-bread. Although it is typically finished with a cream cheese filling, it is still sweet enough to eat plain. The best choice for those trying to stick to a diet, but if you are willing to cheat just this once, try it with Maria’s Cheesecake filling

Chocolate

A crowd pleaser all over the world, Maria’s own version includes a dash of red wine and a hint of coffee. This cake is not too sweet and pairs nicely with nearly any filling or frosting. Try it with the Bailey’s Buttercream filling!

Inspired by her Mom’s Coconut Cream Pie recipe, Maria adds fresh coconut extract to this tropical delight. Try it with the Dulce Leche filling for a real taste sensation

Egyptian

The Egyptian cake is Marias’s favorite. Made according to her mother’s own recipe, it’s a yellow, Vanilla Bean Cake with a sweetened caramelized plum filling. Simply amazing!

Lemon
